CPAmedia writers and photographers have a longstanding interest in Food, Drink and all aspects of Food Culture--born chiefly out of many years travelling and eating across Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Not that this interest is limited to any particular region--our associates have contributed images and information to books and articles on Cuisine and Culture for destinations as diverse as the Caribbean and New Orleans, California and southern France.

Food Photography

Several CPAmedia photographers are accomplished food photographers, notably David Henley who began his professional career as a photographer for the international food & beverages company Cadbury Schweppes. David's food images have been widely published both in guidebooks (Insight Guides, AA Publications, Dorling Kindersley, Reise Know-How) as well as in numerous inflight and international travel magazines.

Similarly Jerry Alexander, a stalwart of the Lonely Planet World Food series who photographed World Food Thailand--written by CPA's Joe Cummings--World Food Caribbean, World Food Indonesia, World Food New Orleans and (in part) World Food Vietnam. He has recently completed LP World Food California. Jerry-who owns a winery in the Napa Valley-has also illustrated and helped to publish Napa Valley Impressions, a collection of Napa Valley images set against twenty-two personal stories of people who live and work there.
